Normally, when I do air guitar, I play right-handed. Works out fine most of the time.
But...
When I'm playing Black Sabbath and want to air guitar along, I feel odd for not being able to do it left-handed... is it just me or does anyone else strive for realism in playing the air guitar? :smug:

I don’t feel the need to play left handed but I do feel the need to throw in that little head jig or head wobble that he does. Also always important to hit the chords roughly in the right place on the imaginary fretboard :guitar:

Yes you have to play left handed, but for accuracy and tonal reasons you really should cut the fingertips off your fretting hand... ;)

I'm on it!
Best thing about air guitar work is that I'm never out of tune!

My air guitar technique is chaotic. In fact, sometimes it morphs into air drums, air bass...even air keyboard. It's crazy.

I've tried my hand at air-multi-instrumentalism. It's exhilarating, but not my main approach.
I will say that I play a great air electric piano when it's a Ray Charles rock and roll record on deck.

I can't play left handed air guitar...Fingers just don't work that way.
Air drums are not really my things as I don't have any rythm. Air keys on the otherhand...yes. But only with Purple and Savatage / JOP tracks.

I do my best air drumming with Bill Ward and Ian Paice. :) Guess it's what I grew up with!

Rob Loonhouse was my air guitar hero.

Just found out there's an Air Guitar competition in Oulu, Finland... road trip, maybe?
-
Yes there is. Has been a yearly thing for quite some years...Never been though.

Knowing all the fun contests Finland hosts, I might just have to make a trip there to participate in some of them.
