"It's All Over Now" - I heard a 70s version by Bobby Womack and Bill Withers, thought it was a cracking cover of an old Stones tune. Then I found out that back in 1964, it was the Stones actually covering the Valentinos' song... and it was written by Bobby Womack.
Another fun one was thinking "You Made Me So Very Happy" was a Blood, Sweat and Tears original and that Brenda Holloway did a masterful cover of it. Nope. Other way around!
Always fun to get corrected by the musical record.
