Title: What's on your playlist right now?
Post by: Zzzptm on April 07, 2023, 08:55:32 AM
Whether vinyl, CD, 8-track, cassette, or digital, or any other format, what's playing in your house/car/cubicle/earphones/whatever of late?

For me at this time, I made a playlist of soul songs from 1968, four hours long with 91 songs, and I'm playing through that as I do my work stuff. I picked mostly upbeat, danceable tracks so it's maxxing out on the fun scale.  :wootwoot:

I'm thinking of making a 4-hour play list of prog songs, but I can't decide which 3 songs to include! ;)

If you avoid double-album prog songs, you could get 5 in the playlist.

Another qualifier could be prog songs that incorporate slap bass only.

My car's playlist was Black Sabbath...which I made just a while ago...that was a monster task...

Music today has so far been a lot of glam rock, enjoying that vibe.

Doing my funk show for today, focusing on big influences in the genre, so that means Ashford & Simpson, Quincy Jones, George Clinton, Norman Whitfield, and Isaac Hayes. Stuff they wrote, produced, or performed on, great mix. Led to some album acquisitions, as well...

Nice! I don't have a playlist, per se. Haven't in many years, so that's my contribution to this thread lol.
