Here's a pretty great interview with Ian where he talks about Sabbath, Purple, Ritchie and his musical heroes.. Too bad the questions are in spanish so you kind of have to guess the questions! :D

Awesome point to the gentleman from Finland! :)

Great interview, it's fascinating to hear 77 years of experience in Gillan's voice there.

Good interview, and though I don't know Spanish, the guy is a good interviewer simply because he let Ian talk and was not constantly butting in.

Gillan talking about singers helps to explain how some seem to stay strong and some seem to lose their chops and need help in the studio and then mime it to a backing track on tour. Mustaine going through all his issues does go along with his vocal issues on the latest release - Dio constantly touring and keeping it going, even in clubs, explains how he stayed on top of his game to the end.
