Ran an errand to the post office yesterday. Today, we're getting some doors replaced on our house. It's a chilly day, but we'll endure the open air for just one day, we can warm up at night.

I need to get a vehicle inspection done on the van, but I'll do that sometime next week.

What's the humdrum on your plate for today?

Well deposited 50€ in a internet casino...got as far as 220€ but then came down...I had set a limit of 300€ for withdrawal.
Yesterday I got 1300€ out with a 75€ depo so that was a good day.

Now this year's casino deposits are done.

Was supposed to wash the summer wheels today, but it has rained all day and I also had to visit the store to get some cat food...

Today is cloudy and will remain so into the night. High of about 45 F.

Going to do some work, have a couple of meetings (Teams meetings these days), then probably going to cut it short.

My Czech class was pushed ahead an hour, so I'll be doing that shortly.

Going to set some mouse traps in my utility room. I keep the door closed on that and since the cats (who are 20 and 19 but still deadly to mice) can't get in there, and the weather cooling off, evidence of field mouse activity is appearing.

This evening I'm going to drive into town, strip naked, and run down Main street yelling that the British are coming.

Going to set some mouse traps in my utility room. I keep the door closed on that and since the cats (who are 20 and 19 but still deadly to mice) can't get in there, and the weather cooling off, evidence of field mouse activity is appearing.

Mice are shitheads.... My cousin just had his excavator's cabin destroyed by them...ate consoles, the chair, electrics, heater unit and god knows what else...atleast 5 grand worth of damage... little fuckers.

I've had a mouse trap on my warehouse and caught about a dozen of those bastards so far. 5 from the attic of the house. Crazy mouse year this year. And I have cats for christ's sake!

Put an extended baffle on my garage door, just to keep the mice out of there.

It would certainly aid any quarantine efforts as everyone would stay home to avoid the spectacle.

Well, the door guys had a late start and there's a little bit of work left to do, but they are all installed and secure and insulated. They look great and are definitely an improvement over the doors they replaced, which had lots of gaps around the edges.

Now I need to call the alarm company to send a guy out to recalibrate.

Getting ready for winter...emptied and washed all the water barrels and flower pots...cleaned the summer wheels, and the lawn mower tractor....need to install the snowplow and chains to it later on...

Also put some more christmas lights up.


Happy Thanksgiving to all as well! Eat and be merry! Remember to eat the whole turkey so that it won't turn into a zombie turkey and gobble gobble gobble your eyes out when you're sleeping. It's a thing....or so I've heard.

We're smoking our turkey this year, and it's delicious. We had a practice turkey last week. I took care of the laundry and the trash while my wife ran the kitchen.

Got our Christmas decorations up over the last 2 days. Good thing, too, because it started raining a lot last night.

Need to get some flea medicine for the cats, though.

13 hours of work lined up for me after taking a week off.

Thanks, project managers! Nothing makes me express gratitude for days off like getting slammed when I come back to work!

Can't retire yet, so on I work. But I did get a working session cut short, which allows me to have a break of sorts for this hour.
