Yeah! Picture discs are always fun to look at. I've heard people complain about their sound quality, I've never noticed the difference.

Picture Discs are more for show and collecting purposes. No way do they compare to regular vinyl in sound. Some even state as such on the packaging.

Been slowly replacing my plastic sleeves on my albums over time and today was coming across certain original vinyls I have doubles of from the same year but have alternate covers or slight differences between the two. Most of the time they are just U.S and UK variants or in Guns N’ Roses and Pantera’s case were banned and had to be changed. Here’s some of them.

Some of the differences are just cosmetic color changes... but that German cover of Restless and Wild... is that a flaming vagina between the guitars?

Kinda just saw it... and I'm guessing someone else who doesn't live in Germany saw it as well, hence the cover change...

Yeah I've never looked at it like that...but now...gosh...damn....

I have never seen that cover of Rocka Rolla before...pretty cool...better than the original for sure but that's not saying much!

^^^ You haven’t heard the story behind the Rocka Rolla cover?  Depending on what or who you believe the band apparently weren't happy with the original cover as they didn’t think it fitted their image as a heavy metal by the time the 80’s rolled around, but the other theory was that they were threatened by a lawsuit from the Coca Cola company if they didn’t change it.
