Yeah I've been thinking about Billy constantly too...Always ponder what he might say on topics and what albums he'd chose on polls and such...crazy.

Ozzy's been hospitalized due to complications of the flu...

Probably means pneumonia...that can be a dangerous thing for a man of his age already..

Hopefully he'll be okay.

Yeah hopefully it's just precautionary rather than anything more serious.

Regarding Ozzy... he's old, hope he pulls through.

Regarding Billy... I'm right there with you all. But I want to find a way to smile. Billy was always a kind man, and he wouldn't want us to feel pain for his passing. He loved his Norway, the land, the hills, the skies, the nature. And thanks to Norwegians who felt likewise, I can remember Billy as I do my work.

I have a TV in my home office, and I connected it as a second monitor. On YouTube, I created a playlist of videos from "SlowTV", which is a brilliant idea from NRK, the Norwegian state television.

Basically, they hooked up a camera to a train and broadcast the whole trip, minute for minute.

That was so popular, they did the same for other trains and then moved into other areas. The biggest one was a ship going from fjord to fjord up the Norwegian coast. Over 100 hours of video, from the bow of the boat.

So I strung together those videos and made a public playlist. I watch them and think about Billy. In my imagination, we're just silently watching the wonderful scenery as it passes by, the cold wind off the water splashing our faces. And we smile.

Just as we got news that Ozzy got out of hospital and is doing better now we find out that Bernie Torme has been hospitalized for severe pneumonia and is in really bad condition...

I have come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to come here and not think of Billy. I'm cool with that. Like Z, I think Billy would rather we move on with joy in our hearts for the time we had with him, rather than focusing on our loss.

What we started here is still rolling along, and I'm certain he'd be stoked about that. I do very much miss his candid perspective on different things and respected his integrity whether I agreed with him or not.

That would be my daily thought.

Oh, and Charger, we have snow inbound for this weekend, and I'm about done with this cold-ass, icy, snowy weather.

Lucky weather here continues.  It snowed 2 inches night before last, but yesterday the temp went above freezing and it all melted.  Still have not touched my shovel or snowblower this winter.
