Finally got Hurricanes And Halos from AVATARIUM.



I can already say it's much better than The Girl With The Raven Mask but not nearly as good as the first album...it's kind of sad because they had a lot of potential but now it seems that they will be a one fantastic album wonder....

When I first saw the cover I had really hard time seeing what it was supposed to be....For the longest period I thought it was a spaceship but didn't really understand what it was suppose to represent....but then I read someone say it is a Robot and then I saw it too...and now it's pretty clear! :D

There is most certainly a classic priest style to this though...more so than any other post Jugulator cover.

That's a great complication for a band that's very hard to compile. I love the new guitar licks in the middle part of Boureé (might be they're there in the original, but it's just a new mix that make them more audible, though).

Well I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of my signed Firepower vinyl from Pledge but I'm a little on edge about it as I've been reading some pretty disturbing things from people that have received theirs already in that a lot have been received badly damaged due to poor quality control in the packing and shipping department of Pledge which they do already have a bad reputation for. Fingers crossed though...

They sure do but you'd think they would've learnt by now after previous mass complaints and unhappy pledges. The only other time I ordered from them was a signed Megadeth Dystopia vinyl which arrived in good order but was missing Chris Adler's signature. But to their credit they did send me another one without asking me to send the other one back. I ended up sending it to a a friend of mine in Ireland that's a huge Megadeth fan.

It is a great comp - one of their best. I had the full discography of Tull up to Roots To Branches when I was young, and at the time they were my favorite band.
