My wife smoked the turkeys yesterday, now they're resting in the fridge. Chocolate-pecan cobbler will be smoked today - yes, a smoked dessert! - and fresh rolls are on their way. I'm ready for the Cowboys to beat Washington (losing record for the Commanders, all good for a win) and then plan to catch the Egg Bowl later tonight. Iron Bowl tomorrow - the Southeast Conference is the most fun for football. The games are fun enough, but then the whole conference gets roasted by comedians over the next few days, so watching the games and knowing what's going to be joked about makes them all the more fun.

I'm in - and from - Canada.  We celebrate Thanksgiving in Oct., but thanks to Charger for starting this thread and to Vyn and Z for posting.  Happy Thanksgiving to those of you south of my border.
